Sol Solomon Forward
Sol Solomon arrives at Haig Avenue with an impressive goalscoring pedigree despite being only 25 years old. The Jersey international became Jersey Bulls’ record goalscorer before progressing to Marine and later earning a move into the Football League with Tranmere Rovers. After two years at Prenton Park he returns to the Sefton coast.
Southport manager Neil Danns, who worked with Sol at Tranmere, said: “I’ve known Sol for years during my time at Tranmere and with his potential it’s important he gets regular appearances that he deserves.
“He’s a player that’s got loads of energy, contributes goals, has real enthusiasm for the game and he is the exact type of player we want at this football club.”
