Our Over 60’s Walking Football Team are in action on Tuesday in a friendly against Skelmersdale. Two familiar names in the Skem line up, Andy Gray and Leroy Dove.

Andy made seven appearances for the club in 1986 and he is also the father of Shaun Gray who played for Southport 71 times between 2008 and 2010.

Leroy Dove is a Southport legend with 221 appearances and 17 goals for the club between 1992 and 1997.

The Southport WF Team manager commented “it could be a tough game”
