Our Over 60’s Walking Footballers took to the road today in the latest of their friendlies and came away with an excellent 3-2 win over at Chadderton against the North Manchester Walking Football Team.

The game was played over three 20 minute sessions, the first session saw Southport lose 1-0, an early goal caused a few jitters. The second 20 ended 1-1 with Andy Willims getting a goal on his competitive debut. The third period ended in a 2-0 win for the yellows with player manager Colin Dale netting both goals.

It was a fine win against a team that plays in the Manchester League.
