A 1-0 win against City Of Liverpool sees Southport progress into the Quarter Finals where we will have a home tie against Warrington Rylands

A David Morgan goal in the 50th minute assisted by the lively Renato Gomes was all that seperated the sides in a game with numerous stoppages which saw 13 added minutes in total.

Whist it was a stop start game from the early stages, there were plenty of chances for both sides and City of Liverpool belied their lowly position in NPL West and posed a threat throughout the game.
