A reminder that it is our open training session this Tuesday 29th July. This date marks one year since the horrific stabbings in our town, and allows us to bring together the community in a family-friendly environment.
Tickets for the evening are free, but should be secured in advance to allow us to manage numbers efficiently. There will also be the opportunity for attendees to purchase refreshments at the ground. Book your ticket HERE
The 1881 Lounge will be open from 6pm with supporters admitted to the ground from 7pm when the marquee will also be open.
Our Club Shop will be open from 6-8pm
Chief Operating Officer Andy Burgess commented “We’re pleased that we’re able to invite our supporters into Haig Avenue to watch the players take part in the evenings training session.
This will give fans a closer look at our squad being put through their paces by our new management team, and an opportunity for them to meet the group, get autographs and photos and chat with the players and staff.
We also want to offer an opportunity for the community to come togther to mark the first anniversary of the awful events of last year that happened just around the corner from us. We will take a moment during the event to observe a silence and remember the little girls who so tragically lost their lives, and we hope as many people as possible are able to join us on what will be a poignant and emotional evening.”
