Two Of Our Own
We’re pleased to confirm that Manager Neil Danns and Assistant Manager Mark Duffy will be taking part in our Charity Match, which will be taking place on Sunday 3rd August, in support of 24 families directly affected by the tragic events of 29th July 2024 in Southport.
The duo were announced in their new roles early last month and met with the squad for the first time on Tuesday, marking the beginning of pre-season.
Neil and Mark both had very successful playing careers, with Neil featuring for teams such as Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers, and Mark playing for the likes of Scunthorpe United, Sheffield United, ADO Den Haag and not forgetting his time at Haig Avenue with Southport.
