It’s been another fantastic few months for the Southport FC Community Foundation, with so much to celebrate both on and off the pitch.

Our Summer HAF Programme was a huge success, with an incredible 109 applications, a record number showing just how important and valued the programme is within our community. It’s been wonderful to see the HAF children take part in matchday experiences too, waving flags and walking out as mascots at both friendlies and league fixtures  These moments create lifelong memories and strengthen the bond between our club and community.

Looking ahead, we’re delighted to share that work has now started at KGV, the future home of our 25 community teams. We’ve had very productive conversations with Lancashire FA and can’t wait to see this site develop into a fantastic venue for both training and league fixtures. This project will be transformational for grassroots football in Southport, and we’re excited to bring it to life.

We’re also proud to announce the launch of Powerchair Football at our new venue. It’s been a long journey, with many challenges along the way, but thanks to the dedication and determination of everyone involved, we’ve finally got there. We’re now preparing to compete in the Powerchair Development League this season against some of the country’s biggest names, including Manchester City and Wrexham . A huge well done to all involved, this is the start of something very special.
