Natasha Dowie & Chelcee Grimes To Feature In Charity Match

Another Charity Match duo announced
Ex-professional footballer Natasha Dowie and singer-songwriter, television presenter and former footballer Chelcee Grimes are the next two players confirmed to be taking part in our Charity Match, raising funds, together with Southport Hesketh Round Table, for the 24 families directly affected by the tragic events in Southport on 29th July 2024.
Natasha comes from a strong footballing background, with her uncle Iain and father Bob both having played professionally. She built an impressive career of her own, representing a number of top clubs including Watford, Fulham, Charlton Athletic, Everton and Liverpool. Over the years, she collected several major honours, including the FA Cup and the Women’s Super League titles in 2013 and 2014. In 2013, she was also the league’s top scorer and received the Players’ Player of the Season award.
Liverpool born Chelcee Grimes is a multi-talented individual, taking up careers in music, tv presenting and football. Chelcee has been the songwriter behind hits for the likes of Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, Olly Murs & Jonas Blue. In her footballing career, she started playing at the age of 10 for Liverpool Ladies, later featuring for Everton, Tottenham Hotspurs, Tranmere Rovers, Fulham and Merseyrail Ladies. Natasha has been a presenter and pundit on highly-successful shows, including BBC MOTDx, BBC Sport Women’s World Cup coverage and COPA90.
