We have a break from league action on Saturday and another trip to Buxton, this time in the FA Trophy, this game kicks off at 3pm.

It will be decided on the day, if the scores are level after 90 minutes it is straight to penalties.

A repeat of the 2-1 win at Silverlands only a few days ago would see progression into Round Three which is scheduled for December 13th.

Last season in the Trophy we beat Peterborough Sports and Warrington before losing 1-0 at Southend United.

The Trophy may have lost some of its importance in some eyes but I am sure most Southport fans will never forget the journey to the final in 1998 and a repeat run would go down well.
