Marcus Carver has kindly donated the boots he has worn for most of the season; the ones he wore when he scored his hat-trick at King’s Lynn back in September last year. The boots have been signed by Marcus and come along with a signed photo of him wearing them on the day. Please note the boots are well worn.
To have a chance of owning the boots all you need to do is e-mail a bid to rob@southportfc.net by 3pm on Saturday 4th May. The highest bidder will be notified after the closing date and time. At Marcus’s request any money raised will go to the Jack Sampson #Helping Hannah Appeal.

Over 70’s Walking Football Triumph
Our Over 70’s were in Walking Football action in the National Walking Football Cup yesterday and won 2-0 at Glossop. A great performance from all the lads.
Both the Over 65’s and 70’s have progressed and are eagerly awaiting the draw for the next round.

Southport FC Announce New Kit Provider In Historic Sportswear Brand Patrick
We have today announced a multi-year agreement with “True Heritage Brand” Patrick as their new kit provider.
Patrick has been a leading sports kit provider for over 100 years, sponsoring legends in their respective sports. Their story began in 1892 with Eugene Beneteau and his son Patrice who subsequently took over, starting the journey of their legacy brand with boots for their local football team. Since then, the brand has sponsored the likes of Kevin Keegan, Bernard Hinault, and Michel Platini.
Following their first season with new owners, Big Help Group, Southport FC are delighted to have formed a new commercial relationship with Patrick to take them into the next one.
Adrian Hunter, Interim CEO of Southport FC, said “It was apparent from our first meeting that Karl and the team at Patrick were a perfect fit for the Club. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and they aligned with our ethos from the very start.

Early Bird Season Ticket Closing Date May 6th
Annfield Plain Visit
A few months ago we were contacted by Annfield Plain FC about the possibilty of a Pre Season game to commemorate the upcoming 60 year anniversary of when they came to Southport to play in the FA Cup (14 November 1964). Southport won the game 6-1 in front of a gate of 3679 which contained a large contingent of travelling supporters.
The game has never been forgotten in the North East as it was a massive occasion for their club at the time. The scorer of the goal for Annfield Plain was Marshall Lawson and it was his son who made the contact.
Unfortunately it hasn’t been possible to arrange a friendly but Rob and Julia Urwin had a visit to the club on the Thursday before the game at South Shields taking along a copy of the matchday programme (given to us very kindly by Mick Hopkins) and a Southport shirt for them either to keep or auction off for club funds.
Rob said ” it was a fantastic visit, the highlight being meeting 90 year old Marshall Lawson Senior, the scorer of the Annfield Plain goal who talked us through it like it was yesterday. We met the current chairman along with one of the supporters who was at the game, had a look around the ground and had a great time with a very enthusiastic group of people whose club means the world to them”

Club Shop Opening Next Two Saturday’s
Our Club Shop will be opening on Saturday April 27th and Saturday May 4th between 10am and 2pm each day to assist with people with Early Bird Season Ticket Sales or call in and grab a bargain or two with massive reductions on a number of lines of merchandise.
Media Player Of The Year
Despite only having 24 starts this season Tyler Walton retains his Media Player Of The Year title following on from him winning the award in 2022/23.
It was all even going in to the final game with several players in contention but another solid performance from Tyler at South Shields swung it his way.
Tyler was presented with his award on the pitch at South Shields after the game by Media Manager Rob Urwin.
This award is based on the number of MOTM awards given by the Media Team in every game played during the season.
