Despite the efforts of Hamish and other volunteers the referee had no choice but to abandon the game this afternoon.

Hamish was out on the pitch in the morning making sure the pitch was ready to play on given the forecasted heavy rain from 1pm (which duly arrived) and by midday it was perfect in all areas. Sadly the heavy rain came as expected.
