Arthur Signs For The Port

We’re delighted to welcome EFL experienced striker Arthur Gnahoua to Southport Football Club.

Arthur brings a wealth of experience, having featured for several EFL clubs such as Bolton Wanderers, Morecambe, and most recently, Grimsby Town.

Manager Jim Bentley said “We have been trying to increase our options in the forward positions and Arthur comes to us with a wealth of experience.

I have seen him over the years in the EFL and he is a good player, he can play wide or down the middle, can create and score goals. I’ve spoken to a lot of people in the game who have played with and managed / coached Arthur and have had good reports on him as both a player and a person.

He has trained with us so we know where he is at and what to expect and we are very pleased to have him with us”

The 32-year old joins on a non-contract basis and has signed in time to be available for selection this afternoon.
