Southport Football Club can confirm that our Chief Operating Officer over the weekend has stepped down from his role, bringing to an end almost three years of service at Haig Avenue.

During his time with the club, he undertook a number of responsibilities across both football and operational areas and played an important role during a period of transition. In particular, his support and cooperation during the club’s change of ownership were greatly appreciated and helped ensure continuity and stability at a critical time.

The owners, David Cunningham and Kieran Malone, would like to thank him for his commitment, professionalism and the support he provided during the takeover and beyond. His knowledge of the club and willingness to assist wherever required made a meaningful contribution behind the scenes.

Everyone at Southport FC wishes him well for the future and thanks him for his efforts in representing the club. He departs with our respect and best wishes.
