Young forward becomes a Sandgrounder

We’re excited to welcome Nathan Sandison to Southport Football Club on an initial one-year deal, with the option of an extra season in the Club’s favour.

The 19-year old arrives at Haig Avenue following his departure from Bootle at the end of last season. Nathan joined The Bucks for a brief spell, having impressed at Nantwich Town earlier in the season. Despite leaving them in March, Nathan was Nantwich’s top assister come the end of the season, setting up 13 goals during his time at the Swansway Stadium.

Nathan is a product of the Wigan Athletic Academy, joining the youth setup there in 2019. He progressed through the system there and was with them until 2024, featuring for the U18s on a regular basis.
