Southport FC have joined hundreds of other clubs in donating a shirt in honour of Jordan Sinnott who recently died on a night out.

The full Port squad are pictured with the shirt at training on Thursday evening.

Jordan, who played for Matlock Town in the Northern Premier League, was found with a fractured skull after an alleged assault in Retford, on 24 January.

Two men have been charged with Jordan’s manslaughter.

The response to the appeal has been amazing with clubs all over the world, large and small donating a shirt with “Sinnott 25” on the back.

The shirts will be donated to Sport Relief in due course.
