TRANSFERS | Port Secure Callum Howe Loan Signing

22 year old defender joins from Lincoln

Manager Andy Bishop has confirmed the loan signing of 22 year old Callum Howe from Lincoln City on a one month loan deal. Bishop has sought defensive cover following Chris Doyle’s ACL tear which will keep him out of contention for some time.

Howe started his career at Scunthorpe United and while with The Iron spent time on loan at Gateshead and Alfreton.

Howe signed for Lincoln in 2015 following a successful trial with the club, and has also seen first team action at Bradford Park Avenue and Gainsborough Trinity. Callum has impressed at Lincoln City since joining in 2015 but off-season strengthening of Lincoln’s defence by manager Dan Cowley has seen increased competition for first team places at Sincil Bank.

Callum is available for selection for Saturday’s game against Tranmere Rovers along with Imps midfielder Craig Stanley who also signed on loan earlier this week.
