The First Round of the Liverpool County FA Senior Cup sees the Port host neighbours Marine at the Merseyrail Community Stadium, and will now take place on Tuesday 22 January, 7:45pm KO.

The side ply their trade a division below in the Northern Premier League (Premier Division) and made it to the final of this competition last year, losing to Prescot Cables 4-0.

Southport have lifted this cup on eleven occasions – the third most successful side in the competition after Everton and Liverpool – with the last time being in 2011.

This fixture will still be all-pay, including season tickets holders, with the club offering reduced admission in all areas:

  • Adults – £5
  • Concessions (O65, 12-18) – £3
  • U11 – Free

Tickets are available from the Club Shop and online by clicking here.

An 8-page colour programme, with team-sheet, will be available for 50p.

Tickets bought for the original and first rearranged date will still be valid and was changed again due to the involvement in another cup competition.

Match Hospitality Offer

The club will still be offering both sets of fans the opportunity to make sure they are ready for the fixture by opening the 1881 Lounge and Big Dog Workwear Suite together before kick-off (from 6pm) for a hot pot or curry and a drink at £10.

Admission to the game will need to be paid for separately, which can be done at the bar. The choice of drink can be soft or alcoholic.

Just turn up on the evening, but for more information, including dietary requirements, contact Steve via email:
