The Gaffer’s Update

Marcus Carver continues to make good progress after his foot injury. However, he is still a few weeks away from returning to action.

Harry Flowers is also progressing well from his injury suffered in pre-season, he is due to visit St George’s Park rehab department for a week, next week.

After recovering from a rib injury, Jack Doyle is back available for selection, he trained on Thursday night.

Jordan Keane unfortunately picked up a calf injury against Bamber Bridge and is going to be a few weeks away from returning.

Dior Angus didn’t partake in training on Thursday due to illness, but is expected to be fit and available for selection in this afternoon’s encounter.

Both Will Russ & Jack Bentley are out on loan, at Bamber Bridge and Litherland REMYCA respectively.

Yesterday, we brought in Aaron Pickles on a 28-day loan from League Two side Accrington Stanley, which has been approved by the league, meaning he is available for selection today.
