A former Southport player in the Kidderminster ranks is Caleb Richards   who had 7 games with the club in the 2017-18 season.

Southport will be without Russ Benjamin who sustained a broken ankle in the game at Spennymoor. Isaac Buckley-Ricketts will be added to the squad for the first time after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Whilst The Sandgrounders only have one point on the board after the opening two games, supporters have been pleased with the way the team has played and that one point could very easily have been four.

We had fantastic support at the Gloucester game and again at Spennymoor last Saturday which all the lads commented on so please continue to get behind the team throughout the 90 minutes.
