Sonny Hilton Signs for SFC

Sonny Hilton has officially signed with Southport FC. Hilton has already trained with his new teammates as they prepare for pre-season which is just around the corner with SFC set to welcome Preston North End to The Big Help Stadium. Match-day and hospitality tickets for which are available to purchase now.

Sonny Hilton’s Journey: From Fulham to SFC

The attacker’s pedigree is clear, having come through the ranks at Fulham and enjoying a successful Premier League 2 career, captaining his side while making 63 appearances and notching 31 goal involvements. The 23-year-old has also made his mark on the international stage, with appearances for England U16, U17, and U19.

Now at Haig Ave, Sonny joins just in time to get a full pre-season under his belt with SFC manager Jim Bentley. With the fixtures due to be released this month, The Port will soon find out who we will take on first as we aim to build on an exciting summer of signings and push on for a successful 24/25 campaign.

Confirmation of Vanarama National League key dates for the 2024/25 season:

Fixture Release: Wednesday, 10th July

Opening Day: Saturday, 10th August

National League North/South Final Day: Saturday, 26th April

National League Final Day: Monday, 5th May
