Our second signing of what promises to be a busy period of close season transfer activity sees Freddie Sass join the club from Mossley.
Freddie is predominantly a left back who has played at Tadcaster Albion, Stalybridge Celtic and latterly at Mossley.
Freddie was at the ground today for a few photos and can’t wait to get started he said ” It’s a step up and one I feel ready to take, I have really enjoyed my time at Mossley but having spoken to Liam and knowing the club’s reputation for helping young players advance I know this move is right for me and I can’t wait to meet all the lads. I know Dec from my time at Mossley and I have also played with Keenan at Stalybridge and they both speak very highly of the set up here at Southport”
Liam added ” We have seen Freddie on a few occasions now and he is a high quality player and I am delighted to get his signature at this early stage, he is a great addition to our squad”
