Pickles Arrives On Loan

The club have today acquired the services of central defender Aaron Pickles, on a one-month loan from Accrington Stanley.

Aaron, 20, has made three appearances for The Reds this season, whilst also spending time on loan at fellow Vanarama National League North side, Farsley Celtic.

Manager Jim Bentley said “Aaron comes highly recommended, he’s a solid, honest player.

We have a few injury issues at centre half and a lot of football coming up so we needed some reinforcements in this position.

He’s played a bit of football in the EFL, he’s had a loan move at our level this season so he knows what to expect and we are pleased to have him onboard. I’d also like to thank Accrington for loaning Aaron to us.”
