LOAN WATCH | 2018/19 Season (6)

Like Southport, a lot of the players out on loan where also competing in cup action throughout this week and all hoping for similar success.

Dan Cockerline

Cockerline was in the starting lineup for Hednesford’s game against Rugby Town in the Emirates FA Cup.

After being pegged back to 1-1, the forward put his side back in front with a goal in the 31st minute.

Fitzpatrick, who got the first and the assist, added a third not long after to secure victory and cup progression.

Droylsden

Lewis Doyle and Droylsden also only had one match, sadly their was no room for the midfielder to make the starting line up of the 1-1 draw against Glossop North End as he only made the bench.

Defender, Andy Hollins has joined The Bloods till the end of October on loan to continue his development. After his brace at Holker on Tuesday evening in the County Cup for the Port, he trained with his new teammates on Thursday evening in Manchester.

Josh Dobie

At Runcorn, Josh Dobie, was also only a substitute as the Linnets marched to a 2-1 away win against Mossley.

Liam Davies

Marine were in both Cup and League action throughout the week.

Liam Davies was an unused sub against Frickley Athletic as the Lilywhites earned a vital 1-0 victory.

The midfielder was completely absent from Marine’s midweek home game, as they drew 1-1 at Workington.

Billy Priestley

Billy Priestley was once again a starter for FC United of Manchester as they were also in Emirates FA Cup action against Colne.

Two first half goals were enough to secure The Reds cup victory, and like Southport a positive from the start of this season.

Elliot Osborne

The latest loanee is Osborne at Stockport County, who came on for the second-half in their Emirates FA Cup tie at South Shields.

His lively performance helped towards a dramatic ending as the Hatters got a late winner to also progress in the competition.
