LOAN WATCH | 2018/19 Season (16)

The Port loanees were once again in action over a busy week.

Droylsden Duo

The Bloods enjoyed two matches this week, with Andy Hollins starting both and Lewis Doyle on the bench for both.

It was the worse possible start for the Tameside team though, going behind early on, but they soon got themselves back level and not long after went ahead.

The second half was just as action packed, with four more goals as Droylsden secured a 4-3 win over Trafford.

They came up against the same opponents Trafford midweek, with another goal fest and a 2-2 draw in normal time resulting with penalties.

After a long shoot out, Trafford were victorious winning 8-7.

Dan Cockerline

At Hednesford, Dan Cockerline was in the starting 11 against Workington.

Despite heading into the half with the lead, three second half goals from Workington condemned the Pitmen to a 4-2 defeat.

The forward was also nominated for the clubs player of the month, finishing joint third in a Twitter poll with 14%.

Billy Priestley

Colne were in action twice this week with Billy Priestley in action in one of them, starting the 1-1 against Chasetown.

The second match for the club was a Lancashire Challenge Trophy tie against Charnock FC, where they won 1-0.

Josh Langley

Josh Langley was on the bench and didn’t feature again for Altrincham, who took on Brackley on Saturday.

His side were once again on the winning side, grabbing all three points with a 2-1 win.
