We can confirm that Josh Hmami has left the club.
In all competitions Josh made 103 appearances since making his debut in August 2021 scoring 11 goals.
Manager Jim Bentley added ” We are very disappointed to lose Josh as he’s a good player and a good person who is liked by everyone at Southport FC. We spoke at the end of the season and offered him a two year deal and I’ve been in contact over the last few weeks. We have tried our best to keep Josh at the club but he’s shown a desire for full time football which we respect and appreciate. I’m sure I speak on behalf of everyone at the football club when I wish him all the very best for the future”
