Last night we hosted our first business networking event in association with our front of shirt partners, County Insurance. The event took place within the marquee and saw over 100 guests attend representing businesses from all over the area, and even as far afield as Huddersfield.
Guests heard from Club partners, County Insurance as well as from CEO Natalie Atkinson, Director Phil Hodgkinson, Manager Kevin Davies, Business Development Manager David Broadbent and Man of the Match Dion Charles.
The evening saw the launch of the Southport 70 Partnership Programme as guests were told about the commercial opportunities available with the Club and given an insight as to how the Club are looking to progress over the coming years.
Speaking about the event, Business Development Manager, David Broadbent said; “Firstly we would like to thank Chris Harding and County Insurance for their sponsorship of the event. We were delighted with the turnout with over 100 people in the marquee to hear about our commercial plans. The launch of the Southport 70 created a lot of interest and we will be working over the coming days to follow this up, we will certainly be running more events like this in the future and we’d like to thank everyone who attended.”
CEO Natalie Atkinson added “Our first business network club was a huge success, the number of companies that came to our event from the local area shows that the support and desire to work with Southport FC is out there. Our network of businesses and creating partnerships is a key aim for the success of this football club. My personal thanks go to Chris Harding our partner from County Insurance for pulling the event together with us. This is just the start and we are really excited for the future”
