The injury situation at the club has been grabbing the headlines with Nyal Bell, Josh Hmami and Declan Evans all sidelined but manager Liam Watson remains confident that the lads will go in to the game full of confidence.
Loan signing Enock Lusiama goes straight into the Southport squad.
Our last visit to the impressive new Jakemans Stadium saw a 1-1 draw with a late Boston equaliser just thwarting a 3 point haul. Southport should have been 2-0 up early in that game with a sleepy linesman missing the ball going over the line from a Jack Doyle free kick. Boston came back very strongly in the game and it was all out defence in the final few minutes.
An own goal gave Southport an early lead.
