Southport return to action this weekend as they welcome Torquay United to the Pure Stadium in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
Liam Watson’s last match action was in the previous round of this competition, where they over came Halifax 1-2 at the Shay.
Prior to that they had beaten Marine and Spennymoor.
The opponents, Torquay, have had a pretty straightforward journey to the fifth round.
After beating Chesham Town 0-1, they put four past Boreham Wood, with three of the goals coming in the final ten minutes.
The Gulls have also been a dominant force in the Vanarama National League so far this season, sitting top on 43 points.
Despite that, they did suffer a blip last time out, losing 1-2 against Altrincham.
The man in charge:
Torquay boss, Gary Johnson, has good pedigree at getting teams into the Football League.
His last promotion success came with Cheltenham, after previously doing it with Yeovil.
During his second stint with the Glovers, he also guided them to the Championship for the first time in their history.
Some of his other clubs include, Cambridge, Bristol and Peterborough.
The leading scorer for the Gulls so far this season is Danny Wright.
The 36-year-old has scored eight goals in 15 games in the league.
The Port have already beaten high league opponents to get to this stage, but this will be a tougher ask, especially after an extended break.
A big performance will be needed to keep the cup run alive.
