Squad Update | Buxton (A)

The Latest Squad Update

Jim Bentley details the latest fitness update ahead of our trip to Buxton:

Marcus Carver is making good progress and is due to start light running soon.

Harry Flowers has just attended a week long rehabilitation programme at St George’s Park, to support his recovery.

Jordan Keane picked up a calf injury against Bamber Bridge and is going to be a few weeks away from returning.

Will Russ & Jack Bentley are both out on loan, at Bamber Bridge and Litherland REMYCA respectively.

Jamie Proctor was involved in training on Thursday following his slight groin issue, he is in contention to feature this afternoon.

Danny Lloyd has returned from his pre-planned work commitment and is also in contention to feature today.

Sam Minihan picked up a hamstring injury during Tuesday night’s game against Spennymoor Town, meaning he will miss today’s game against his former club. It’s not a bad injury and we hope he will be back sooner rather than later.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival took part in some running on Thursday night. Whilst he won’t be in contention to feature this afternoon, we are hopeful of him being fit for Alfreton Town on Tuesday.

All the paperwork for new loan signing Owen Lunt has gone through, meaning he is available for selection today.
