A reliable full-back, 24-year-old Chris is equally experienced playing on either side of the defence. Having been released by Oldham Athletic, he moved to Southport in the summer of 2007 after spending two years as a professional at his home-town club, where he had graduated from the youth set-up. Chris, who also spent a short spell at Stalybridge Celtic, has shown an impressive level of consistency during his time at Haig Avenue, featuring more frequently at left-back over the past few seasons.
