SECOND CHANCE FOR PORT AT STALYBRIDGE CELTIC
SECOND CHANCE FOR PORT AT STALYBRIDGE CELTIC

Steve Burr has gone on to manage Kidderminster Harriers aand former Morecambe, Forest Green Rovers and briefly Chester City manager Jim Harvey has stepped into the Stalybridge management shoes.  Stalybridge on Saturday hammered four goals against bottom of the table side Harrogate. Celtic are currently 8th in the table just one point outside the play off positions. They have games in hand over the club's above them having only played 27 league matches. At home they have won five while drawing and losing four apiece. They are low home scorers netting 21 and conceding 18.

Team news for the Port revolves around the midfield with Alan Moogan ruled out having suffered further problems mid way through the first half on Saturday. Kevin Lee is hopeful of a return in about ten days which will be a major boost for the run in.

Next Saturday Southport travel to Redditch. They are placed 18th in the league and have played more matches than Gloucester , Gainsborough and Harrogate who are below them.
