SOUTHPORT CAN GO BACK TOP ON MONDAY AS TWO HORSE BLUE SQUARE NORTH TITLE RACE HEATS UP
SOUTHPORT CAN GO BACK TOP ON MONDAY AS TWO HORSE BLUE SQUARE NORTH TITLE RACE HEATS UP

Midfielder Alan Moogan returns at the Greene King Stadium after serving a four match suspension. Liam Watson made it clear he was considering both matches when he named his starting line up on Saturday and he will make changes for the trip to Hinckley. On Saturday Hinckley drew one all at home to Northwich Victoria. Hinckley were trailing one nil at half time courtesy of Vics Wayne Riley. Hinckley equalised through Andy Hall after Vics had squandered several opportunities to seal the points. Hinckley have been low home goal scorers netting twenty three on their home turf but are water tight at the back conceding just nine. Their home record is won seven, drawn four and lost just once which puts the Port's Monday night task into perspective.

The good news is everyone came through Saturday's 3-2 victory over Blyth Spartans with Kevin Lee the only player ruled out. Kevin Lee will be out for at least four weeks.
