We still have copies of Football Manager 2010 available to order. Orders can be placed by e-mail to shop@southportfc.net and they can be picked up and paid for either on Tuesday v Holker Old Boys, at our Reserve game on Thuirsday v Curzon Ashton or at the next two home games v Redditch on November 10th or Ilkeston on November 14th. Any copies ordered but not not collected by then will go on general sale. The price per copy is £12.50. They can be posted out for an extra £1 P&P. Arrangements to pay via paypal are in place. |

PORT TOP BLUE SQUARE NORTH TABLE

Southport's 5-1 victory over Eastwood Town puts the Port top of the Blue Square North table on 31 points with Corby Town a point behind. The Sandgrounders are at home to Holker Old Boys on Tuesday night in the Lancashire Cup, with our youth squad away to Bradford City on Wednesday kick off 7pm at Valley Parade. Liam Watson's title contenders are back in Blue Square North action next Saturday away at fellow ex Football League rivals Workington. Our next home Blue Square North match is versus Redditch on Tuesday 10th November. In the meantime, you can now listen to Liam Watson's views following the 5-1 victory.

Football Manager 2010 will be on sale in the Club Shop from 1pm tomorrow and will be available on a first come, first served basis. We are pleased to be able to retain last years selling price of £12.50. Orders can be placed Friday evening between 7pm and 9pm by telephone to Rob Urwin on 077900-41514 or by e-mail to rob@southportfcstats.co.uk only if they can be picked up from the Club Shop before the game on Saturday. RESERVES IN STORMING COME BACK

Southport reserves came from two nil down to draw two all at Fleetwood Town on Wednesday night. All the squad who are available for the Bradford City FA Youth Cup came through with skipper Sam Finley outstanding on the night, creating the first Port goal and scoring the equaliser with a scorching shot. Shaun Gray did well getting match time in. |
