Our Broadhursts Booksellers Ltd sponsored free secondary school tickets proved a real winner on Wednesday night. We had 112 secondary school pupils taking advantage of our free offer. Our next generation of supporters witnessed one of the best ninety minutes at Haig Avenue in many a season. Thank you to all teaching staff in our five secondary schools who distributed the tickets. |

Trust In Yellow have two coaches fully booked and are now taking bookings for a third coach to Stalybridge on Sunday so book your seat today. Alan Scarisbrick will take bookings on 07980-911693 or you can call in to the Club Shop on Friday between 4.30 and 6.30 pm to make a booking and pay. The coaches leave The Arion in Ainsdale at 12.10, The Crown at 12.20, The George at 12.25 and Haig Avenue at 12:30pm. Cost is £5 Trust in Yellow members while it is £8 for non members. |

After a scintilating ninety minutes at Haig Avenue on Wednesday night that saw Southport win one nil the message has to be that we are only at half time. Gary Brabin will be checking on his two players who were substituted last night due to injury. Chris Holland (elbow) and Neil Prince (knee) are under treatment this morning. Club doctor Dr Scott examined both last night. Physios John Bradshaw and Eric Anderton will be doing their utmost to get both on the Bower Fold pitch this Sunday. |

Southport's community involvement made another step forward this morning with Haig Avenue opening up at 7am as a polling station for todays local elections. The polling station is situated in the Vice Presidents Bar. The main Grandstand Bar will be open for business as usual from 4:30pm. |
