Our Broadhursts Booksellers Ltd sponsored free secondary school tickets proved a real winner on Wednesday night. We had 112 secondary school pupils taking advantage of our free offer. Our next generation of supporters witnessed one of the best ninety minutes at Haig Avenue in many a season. Thank you to all teaching staff in our five secondary schools who distributed the tickets. |

After a scintilating ninety minutes at Haig Avenue on Wednesday night that saw Southport win one nil the message has to be that we are only at half time. Gary Brabin will be checking on his two players who were substituted last night due to injury. Chris Holland (elbow) and Neil Prince (knee) are under treatment this morning. Club doctor Dr Scott examined both last night. Physios John Bradshaw and Eric Anderton will be doing their utmost to get both on the Bower Fold pitch this Sunday. |
